It's Friday, January 27, 2023. I just came back from school (I'm 10), and I'm going to Orlando, Florida. I didn't know a single thing that the weekend had stored for me. We left that evening, just me and my dad, and went on a plane to pick up my Aji (grandma) and Aja (grandpa) from my Nini's house. Later my dad said that we were going to a field park. I thought, Uhhh! Field parks are boring. I didn't want to, but I'm sure glad that I did!
When I was sitting around the house ( Rajib's uncle's house in Orlando, Florida), I asked my uncle what park my dad is taking me to. He said "Universal or something like that". I couldn't believe my ears! Of course, I have heard of Universal before. And from what I have heard, it's awesome!

There are awesome rides, 4-D shows, characters to meet, good food, and even a Diagon Alley where you can buy a wand that you can actually do magic with. (If you haven't already figured it out yet, I'm a Harry Potter fan).
We left around 9 am. When we got in (finally), the first thing I thought was WOW. This place is huge! So I went on rides and saw clips of movies, but the cool thing is that the screen is so high-tech that you can't usually tell what is on the screen and what is actually there. But I spent most of my time in Diagon Alley, which was amazing! I got a wand, tried butterbeer, did magic, got Bertie botts every flavor beans, and did an awesome ride called Espace from Gringotts.
My Tips:
If you want to manage your time and know rides, download the app. It has all the rides, maps, and especially wait times for rides. You can also order food directly from the app (which we end up doing after seeing such a long long line)
If you are going on a weekend or spring/summer break, then get an express pass. I waited for 95 minutes for the Escape from Gringotts ride but people with express passes waited for about 15 minutes. My dad said it's expensive but will get it next time.
Do your favorite rides early. It gets very busy. You can also do it at the end of the day. They will let you stay later. The transformer ride was a 2-hour wait and the park closes at 6, so we went in line around 5 and left the ride after 7.
I hope you enjoyed this blog and if you are planning to go to Universal, I hope this helped. Bye for now!
